The solution is based on the concept of recycling. Each family home received trash cans, which are then transferred to a recycling center. Garbage is recycled and can be reused. The recycling center also functions as a transfer center, because "heavy waste" such as construction materials is transferred from it to larger recycling centers where it is processed. That way there is no excess waste from the removed houses, and new houses are built from recycled material. Passive houses also appear on the site, which consumes less energy than ordinary houses. A "crafting community" is being formed in which the tenants of nearby houses are employed. They use recycled material to make new items for everyday use. After the transformation of this part of the area, the recycling center exceeds the local significance and the reconstruction of other parts of the city begins.
